In this exercise the student will:

Research opportunites in service-learning at the elementary school and high school level.

Using the internet, research service opportunites and find out how to contact
organizations in your area and learn what each organization does in order to find suitable service sites.

Use the internet to research reflective essay writing. Search for several different
models and tray writing a different essay using all the different models.
Learners will access on-line resources to develop an understanding of what opportunities
exist and how to develop a resource list of organizations that would be likely sites for
service-learning projects. Participants will also research the reflection essay process.
