The journey begins with a self assessment:

Evaluate past service activities
*List some of the things you liked best about service
* List some of the things you liked least about service
* Write down your hopes and dreams for yourself in college/after high school
* Research the various self assessment tools to find if you are the ideal tutor,
or that you work well with certain populations - children, the elderly, physically challenged or even animals!
* Put together a list of things you would like to do and things that seem interesting to you.
